Back in 2020, I made a post on my blog titled “My Writing Resolutions 2020” and to my surprise most of those things came true!
I think actually writing down my goals and deciding I wanted to make those things happen went a long way. So, I want to make another set of writing goals for this year.
I have 3 main writing goals for 2023:
Community challenges
I want to do 3 community challenges this year! I hosted two Instagram Reels challenges last year and they were so much fun. Participants told me they learned a lot and really felt the value in it. Perhaps I might even do a writing challenge this year…So stay tuned!
Querying
I really want to get an agent this year and while I don’t exactly have much control over the outcome, my goal is to begin querying and I’m TERRIFIED so send advice, thoughts, prayers, virtual hugs. Literally anything is welcome.
Starting a new project
I’ve been focused on my story Game On for the last 3 years and as I move it to the next stage (aka querying) I want to start on something new. I have an idea for a new project that’s been scratching at my brain. I would like to dive into that this year. I’m excited to meet new characters and follow their journeys.
