About Me

Hi there! I’m Danielle, a 20-something aspiring author from Atlanta who has always loved the feeling of getting lost in a good story. I have been writing since I was a little kid, scribbling fanfiction of my favorite Saturday morning cartoons.  Now as an adult, I write stories about black teenage girls finding their place in the world and falling in love.

I am an Author Mentor Match Round 9 alumni and I also serve as a blog volunteer for We Need Diverse Books. In 2021, my blog was selected as The Write Life’s 100 Best Websites For Writers. I also started my business the same year, where I teach new and aspiring authors how to dominate on Instagram so they can grow a community of loyal readers. When I’m not working or writing, you can find me reading, listening to podcasts, recording funny reels for my bookstagram account, or fangirling over K-Pop videos.

My dream is to become an author and inspire readers the way my favorite authors have inspired me. My favorite books to read are young adult and I’m currently working on a YA contemporary romance.

I’m excited to share my writing journey with you!

Sincerely,

-Danielle
